Defining my soul purpose

Welcome Spring and month of my birth I appreciate every person who has taken the time to read a blog of mine, what an investment that is at times. The real reason for MEANDERINGSabout was because as I started to write and get some traction and smittering of loyal readers, it was like the uncorking of a bottle of champagne!  I wanted to write about positive things, circled around me, me, ME .... why not?  As our good Mexican friend, Oscar would always say during our visit to The Hilton in three years ago.  The main server at the Lobby bar.  One of the best Lobby Bars I've experienced from across fantasy, all inclusive, 5-star resorts.  It wasn't a Piano Bar, it was a social nucleus of the resort.  Open, spacious, tastefully decorated in the 60s/70s vibe.  Subtle creams, white, with bursts of burnt umber (hey, I remembered that from my oil painting days -- yes, I took lessons off and on over the background years. )  Oscar had a whimsical person...

Triumph over struggle

This blog was originally written earlier today (Saturday, March 4, 2017) on my optioneerJM blog on Word Press ~ where I find an atmosphere of support and celebration of original writing among those who write themselves.  It is the highest compliment any fledgling writer can have. Like most of us at the tail end of Baby Boomers while being drowned out by Millennials, we're trying to get ahead.  Achieve success, notoriety or acclaim.  Subsidize our career choices with our inner voices.  To help others, to help ourselves.  To exhaust our demons by writing and exhuming scars that life has left on our brains. Confidence or competence A struggling battle between what we want to express and be appreciated for our words.  So many of us write to right the struggles we have fought, the wars we have lost, the lessons we have learned. Gratitude: pitiful compensation We appreciate the acknowledgement by others who are in chained to the commo...

Oh dear, oh my .... my give a damn meter is turned OFF!

This post was originally written on  The Publisher blog where I've tripped over and trickled past some interesting things to write about or share that is off the radar usually.  I decided it was worth a share here.  I see where the insight can be used in sales and business scenarios to which I will expand and explain better in a sales-oriented blog.  I still dream in sales and think of ways to sell better.  I just have expanded my interests and want to test new theories or ideas.  Stretching my creative scope even farther than I thought possible.  I referenced my optioneerjm.blogspot.com already and meanderingsabout.blogspot.ca before, now I guess I'm flogging The Publisher (link below) because what I wrote really spoke to me and about me.  Thank you for reading if you are still with me this far.  I owe you my gratitude. Sincerely.  Jeannette  Oh dear, oh my .... my give a damn meter is turned OFF! SOURCE Ther...

we have LIFT off

Seriously. Only like 93 page views.  Eeek.  I'm horrored filled.  This is going against the evil empire crowned by EGO.   Emperor Google Observationer  That's what EGO stands for.   We are all slaves to her ego or his ego. The words When I read the meaning behind words from my blogs today, in the middle being chicken & egg I actually did a double take because what I would normally post on this blog The Commentary, I posted on optioneerJM.blogpost.ca and it seems to have caught on fire. Experimentally inclined to mine my way through all the information trajectory that is out there across the universe, whether be it by sound waves, digital waves, or written pages.    I like to sift out the chaff and settle with the fine mist of information that I find useful, beautiful, informative, driving peace, peaceful thinking, inspirational, innovative drift down to my finger tips to write about it. Identity Crisis Is what you begget whe...

In pursuit of excellence

Is the bar too high? Do you often compare yourself to others::  beauty, looks, success, wealth, home, car, job?  Ahem, or career. First, let me apologize because I was trying to sideswipe you to continue as if there hasn't been a few weeks since the last time I blogged.  Do we strive too far? There comes a certain point in your life when you are at an event, more likely social, more alarming family ::.... and you just POP in your head!  Just like that with the zippy exclamation point (don't overdue it with multiples::.... that screams desperate for attention ....:: so you tend to ignore it or stop reading right there). I found myself at my stepdaughter's wedding, as the "evil stepmother" I told everyone I was.  That was to downplay no input and my manners meter on high alert.   It became a time that because of my non role yet close observer of the past 12 years of the bride's life.  Try facing off two mother grizzly bear...

A worthwhile world to live in

Some of the greatest humanitarians are few and far between.   Mother Theresa was astounding.    She is becoming a SAINT.  Pretty special huh? When a woman can become a SAINT, we know the rights of passage from all our mothers, their mothers and sisters, aunts and cousins have had a greater miracle.  The belief that YES a woman can become a SAINT. What are all of the other SAINTS?  Let me check and BRB (be right back for the newbies and rookies out there:  aka me not that long ago).   AlllllllllRiiiighTY then (as fellow Canadian Jim Carrey would say) ::..... I found the best and most obvious source and website for your spiritual hankerings, wanting to understand catholicism better, or get in touch with a part of your childhood.  More than meets the eye, or soul for that matter, is this website:  catholic.org for anything and everything Catholic where I went on the hunt for what the other SAINTS are ..... and WOWzers, catholic.or...
